Valentino Nuage Bow

There is something about this bag that makes me want it even though it is so unlike anything I would use. The general shape of this bag is a very typical hobo but the giant bow changes everything and adds an element of fun style. It is very usable even though it may appear costumey - it is great with jeans for a quick dress-me-up and the deep shoulder drop is especially handy for bulky winter coats and sweaters. Don't you hate it when your bag keeps slipping? There is nothing more annoying!! When I was pregnant during the winter in Boston I had to use an across the body bag to go over my huge coat for when I used the subway. Wow, I am so glad to be back in LA to the land of cars and good weather!! That was miserable but at least for those in that situation you can get a cute bag to get you through anything. $1895 at Bergdorf Goodman.

  • I know I'm a man with really no insight into women's bags, and no offense Kelly, but you gotta be kiddin' me. That bow makes me think of Jodie Foster's dress when she won her first Oscar. It looks totally out of place and it seems like the company's bag designer just threw it on. Without the bow it would be a beautiful bag.

  • This has to be one of the ugliest bags I have seen from a well-known designer. What were the people at Valentino thinking? A big price for the name, certainly not for the bag.

  • I sell bags for a living, and this bag is huge with or clientele. It is light weight and fun looking and the bow gives it a little more personailty. The black python in this design is unattainable at this time. They flew out as soon as they arrived.

  • Always liked this design, maybe this color is the best so far.
The bow is so big it's cool, great, would love to have one.
    Priced a little high though.

  • I saw this bag at Bergdorf's last Saturday, really cute, actually, much cuter in person :) Still thinking about it...maybe this weekend!

  • Sorry Kelly but this bag looks to busy IMO. Maybe it's just me but it totally reminds me of my grandma's old dress that is still hidden in her closet somewhere. This dress isn't working for me but maybe to some of you out there.

  • This bag is actually a copy of a bag by Garrigue and Jarossay. A french company. THey came out with this in black patent at least 3 seasons ago.
