As if preparing for a child isn’t stressful enough, now as your third trimester winds down you must “pack your bag.” Even if you have done this before, it always feels like the first time. Something always slips your mind. You are so focused on remembering everything you might need for the baby and Dad-to-Be (i.e. batteries charged for photos & video) that you forget to take care of you. Next thing you know, you have just given birth and visitors are showing up to catch a glimpse of the little one. Don’t get caught in frumpy nursing pajamas, no lip gloss, and disheveled hair. Ready, Set, Deliver! ensures Moms-to-be don’t lose their glow post partum.

Laura Thomas Mullen and Erin Zelle gave expecting friends the perfectly packed hospital bag as baby shower gifts. Their thought: Everyone buys something for the baby--why not indulge the mommy with a little something she might use? One day, after racing around town to get all of the items it occurred to Laura and Erin, new moms themselves: “why not just manufacture these ourselves?” weeks later the Ready Set Deliver! kit was born.

Laura, who created and runs the successful bag company My Tote supplied the chic bag which was later filled with all the hospital necessities:
1. Fuzzy slippers with a non-skid tread for cold hospital floors and middle of the night feedings.
2. Sleep mask because you’re going to need every second you can get.
3. Lip balm because glossy is great!
4. Chic nursing gown that you can later wear as anything from a bathing suit cover up to a comfy tunic--this is not your average nursing gown. Sized S/M and M/L with plenty of stretch.
5. Headband because we know how sweaty labor can be and the last thing you want is hair in your face.
6. Swim lined bag that you can later use for diapers, snacks, shoes.... it’s a cute bag--who doesn’t need one?!

Currently, the website displays only the black and white terry options, but the kits are available in a variety of prints. Just contact the company through the website. We all know how incredible it is to give birth--why not look great while you’re doing it?
