Brian Atwood is new to the bag scene and started with clutches to go with his uber sexy shoes. The only one to catch my eye is this little metallic number. The hardware on this is simple and elegant which we always appreciate. This is the perfect clutch for those who do have the need for an array of clutches - the subtle gold metallic will go with just about anything! This is a good size at 10 inches wide so it could also work as a day clutch and can be worn with something casual. It is totally flat so you will have to be careful not to overload it and bulk it up as it would ruin the shape of the bag. But obviously if you are using a clutch you will need to pare down your belongings for the day. The only issue really is with wallets, which are always so fat but a credit card holder is a great solution. $1170 at Saks.

$1200 for a clutch, eh? It's lovely but not $1200 lovely. Even in the crazy world of designer prices, this seems rather high.
