The Power of a Post:
Kelly Cook and Tina Chen Craig were housewives - albeit ones who owned their own Chloe Paddingtons - simply blogging about their love for designer bags until they "outted" a fake handbag site. Today, they aren't shy to say that they, as bloggers called the BagSnob, are responsible for selling out designer bags that have their stamp of approval. "Anya Hindmarch is the best example of the kind of influence we can have on one designer," elaborates Cook. "We featured the Alessandra bag a few months ago and all their stores were inundated with calls. This bag was sold out within days." Cook and Craig make a post nearly every day about one bag or another, detailing aspects of the bag that would otherwise never make it to magazines - like how the Bottega Veneta Anaconda Lucida Lux is a slouchy frame bag that will never lose its shape or how one bag (shall remain unnamed) is a "been-there-done-that military inspired Mulberry knock-off". These brutally frank reviews are just what readers keep coming back for to the snobs for bag advice.

Bazaar's top 5 picks:
Bagsnob: Hilarious reviews of the current bags to hit shelves - "it" or not, these two bag-lovers say it like it is. Now celebrity bloggers in their own right, they take on the big brands daily, revealing what they feel is misguided design sense, shoddy workmanship or just plain ugliness in their irreverent know-it-all style.

Love and thanks to our devoted reader, Brendan of [vogue] , for typing the article out for us!
