The bag might be Hermes or plastic bag from WalMart. Macthy Macthy Robot ? Yes, that´s true, but one has to remember that she, this British girl, has working class background or maybe lower-middle and these people tend to dress in a certain way.
Too much make-up, over-coiffed hair, fussy-dressy clothes, shiny thights and uncomfortable tight, very high-heeled shoes are all lower-class hallmarks,particularly when worn for relatively casual occasions. Deep over-baked tans are also regarded as vulgar by the higher social ranks in UK.
Laboured matching of clothes or accessories is also lower-class signal, particularly if the scheme involves a bright colour, say navy dress with red trim, red belt, red shoes, a red bag and a red hat (take off two more class points if any of these items are shiny as well as red). This kind of overdressing is often seen at working class weddings or other special occassions.
This is not to say that any attempt at dressing up is automatically lower-class. An upper-middle or upper class women in UK will not wear leggings and a grubby velour sweatshirt to go out to lunch at a smart restaurant but she will turn up in something fairly simple and understated, without lots of heavy-handed matching and effortful accessorizing. Her hair might be casually "unstyled".

I would also like to take this chance to ask you ladies an advice. I am actually planning to get this Hermes Kelly Pochette in black Veau Evergrain with Palladium hardware. The clutch is not new but I believe in very very good condition. What you ladies think a Kelly Pochette as a long term Hermes investment? Or should I wait for a birkin which will need to to safe further?

uhm maria von creutz, no offense at all, i hate matchy most of the time, but vic's parent's were rich or didn't you know that? She was teased cuz she was brought to school in a bentley. So no lower class or normal working class honey!
