Zac Posen Aurora Frame Bag

We loved the creamy Aurora for Spring and now we're drooling over the espresso with metallic gold version for Fall! I just landed in LA and am in the mood for a funky bag with old Hollywood charm just like this, it's perfect for me to carry out tomorrow for a night on the town. The espresso leather frame bag is old school glam but the contrasting metallic gold adds a touch of rock and roll vibe and I'll be the envy of all my friends with this dangling from my arm! Zac Posen is a favorite of celebs and socials(I am dying over all his fab dresses for Fall!) and his bags have carved a deep niche in the luxury handbag world. So much so that he doesn't feel the need to place a giant logo in the middle of the bag! It is instead a subtle engraving on the topside of the hardware, now you know I love that! As my friend Robin says, "it's all about reverse snobbery" and if you don't recognize the bag, you don't deserve to call yourself a Bag Snob. $1,500 at NAP, a reasonable price for a slice of Zac heaven and a classic to pass down to your granddaughter!

  • Hey Bagsnobs Tina and Kelly,
haven't been leaving comments lately, but this bag really calls for a standing ovation. It's a gorgeous, vintage looking bag that has that whole old school glamour and by a fantastic relatively new designer. I do like the closure of the bag - very vintage, no? ;)

  • Oh my, this is one gorgeous bags. As always, thank you for sharing your impeccable taste in bags!

  • I love frame bags and thought he was precious on Project Runway. He used just the right touch of gold as well. Thanks for pointing that out.
Enjoy LA! And give Kelly's baby a big Texas squeeze.

  • I own it actually! Beautiful bag but extremely heavy! Even empty!

  • Now THIS is CLASSY! Reminds me of Jackie Kennedy or Princess Grace.

  • Divine! I saw a lavender leather Zac Posen bag on sale at Neiman's in a similar but larger shape with similar hardware and could kick myself now for not getting it. It was special, like this one.

  • LOL, Ann- that is how I feel when I see Bag Snob Tina post a bag that I could have gotten and did not. Her taste is impeccable! I have purchased 3 bags this year on her recommendation and have not suffered from buyer's remorse since I discovered Bag Snob!

  • This is lovely. I feel the same way, Bag Snob is the best!
