I am dedicating today to one of my favorite designers, Consuelo Castiglione of Marni. Season after season she offers tantalizing bags of all shapes and sizes, quirky dresses that are wearable no matter the occassion and sky high platform shoes that are adored by both petite and grande girls alike. The latest is a rather conservative offering from Marni but no less fabulous. The frame bag in brown and black leather, but this being Marni it is not just any frame bag, it has straps on each side so you can wear it restrained or pop it balloon style! I love how the front pocket is focused on the functionality of a flap pocket bag rather than a design feature with no use. The subtle sloped front flap also gives it just a bit more interest as there is only so much you can do to make a frame bag unique. The mushroom color is the one I am lusting for, not that I don’t like black bags but a girl does not need more than 20 black bags do they? At Mona Moore.
