Quilted YSL Tribute Tote in medium- $1,195 Large Flat Tote- $860
The Tribute tote bag from YSL is seeing a lot of press lately on the arm of Ashley Simpson which has instantly propelled it to a must have ‘it’ bag for 20 somethings who long for a piece of the glamour life they imagine these girls to have. “It” or not, this bag is rockin’ it for me! I am not a fan of stamped croc but I love a cheeky leather “quilted” croc! The quilted scales on the YSL Tribute are large and exaggerated, which is quirky and super cute. The size of this tote could not be more perfect, 12.5″ wide is a great size for everyone and will sit under your shoulder without toppling you over. Medium quilted tote $1,195 at Saks. The Large flat tote is even cheaper at $860 but is sized at 16″x16.5″x2, my monster bag lovin’ friends will be all over this! What a great tote for work, school, or travel! Both bag at Saks.
As much as I am a fan of YSL bags,this one doesn´t touch me.I have seen a white one in real croco and that one was not bad.I guess the croco or whatever imitations disturb me.I only want the real stuff.Maybe I´m a snob too.
I like the quilted croc better than stamped. It’s more stylish and less faux.
Uh, mette, no offense but you never seem to like any bags. This is not an imitation croc, it’s quilted leather.
Dear Morgan-Ilike lots of bags,but since I´m not loaded with money I have to be selective and only buy the best I can afford.Quilted leather that reminds a lot of croc,isn´t croc and that I will not buy.YSL has so fabulous bags that I´m just waiting for the right one. I believe everyone has his and her right to a opinion-don´t you too….

I own the quilted medium tribute and love it! Very sharp and versatile. The quilting is very pretty and it adds dimension to this bag.
I recently purchased the YSL Tribute in Patent Croc and was very dissapointed with the quality…very faux looking. Even the metal accents are neglected. Everything about it is poor quality!!! This bag does not have the quality of my previous YSL uptown tote.
