Viva Valentino! I am sure you have read all the hoopla over the 3 day celebration of Valentino’s 45 years in fashion earlier this month, A-list celebs attended a whirwind of parties and dinners, capped off by a stunning Couture collection that made fashionistas weep. Valentino understands that a woman really just wants to look beautiful, regardless of trend. His mesmorizing gowns and exquisitely tailored suits are what every woman dreams of having in her closet. He’s channeled his efforts to handbags the last few seasons and I am loving the latest, a bright poppy red Pintucked bag. I have not been crazy about pleated bags in the past but the geometric placement of the pintucked pleats on this one really appeals to me. This is a great bag for the Fall as it has several of the key elements of the season, the bold red color, the geometric and modern style and black patent leather detailing on handles. The Maison bag is almost identical without the contrasting stitching. Both are great buys but I’d go with the red one! At Bergdorf Goodman.
