Jose Bravo Collection

lenaclutchgold2.jpgFirst of all, what an awesome name, Jose Bravo! He sounds like a matador or a romance novel character. But in fact he is a new bag designer we have discovered for a line called J.O.B. (his middle name is Omar). The Venezuela native went from studying industrial design in San Francisco to Accessories Design at FIT in NYC. I am sure that is why he is so good with form and function because his bags are perfectly in synch with my needs. The signature Hope bag is a great all around everyday bag that is chalk full of function and practicality. The design is not super original but I like how the zippers are vertical, giving it some interest. And it's good to see shoulder bags with strap that are long enough to go on the shoulder comfortably. The Lena clutch is really amazing and the shape and size is perfect for actually getting enough essentials in there, although I can do without the blaze of glory metallic gold. Look at the zipper pocket on the underside of the flap! Now someone was thinking! And I like that the label is on the inside so as to not ruin the clean lines of the bag. JOB Handbags are available at LuxCouture, Hope bag $970.
