Corto Moltedo Galaxy

I know we've done nothing but give Corto Moltedo grief over his hideous designs he passes off as bags. Mainly because we are disappointed that he got nothing from his lineage (he is son of Vittorio and Laura Moltedo of Bottega Veneta) and grew up when his family business was making a mark in the fashion world. But we give props when props are due and here, on sale, the Galaxy tote is an easy buy at $552 at Net-a-Porter. It has the interesting draw string pocket that is quite cute and comes with none of the disturbing details he is known for. This bag actually functions as a bag and I really love the cord and loops that seem to cinch the bag together into a tidy and adorable package (this detail works for me here - it is just not as gross as it is on the Tiger bag). Of course at the regular price of $1380, I would say you're crazy because you can always find his weird stuff on sale at DSW at below trash dump prices. The logo charm is removable - now why can't all logos be removable? I think there is a trend here that the Bag Snobs will start!! =)
