Chanel Croc Quilted Bag

Though I find quilting a satin bag to resemble crocodile skin a tad bit subversive, I must admit it is incredibly inventive and interesting, something only the House of Chanel can carry off. The jewel toned satin will add glamour to your LBD and is in sync with the love affair fashion is re-hashing with everything 80′s (although I do feel a resurgence of the 90′s coming up with the announcement of a Spice Girls reunion). I am all about purple these days and think it is the shade of the season so if you plan on getting one of these candy colored lovelies, that is the color I recommend. Turquoise is gorgeous as well but too summery a color to carry you through Fall. Call Alexis at Chanel Boutique to order. 214-520-1055

I love this bag! I think it’s completely ingenius. It’s also featured in July’s Harper’s Bazaar (with Anne Hathaway on the cover). I’m first on the waiting list (for turquoise) at my local Chanel boutique – I can’t wait! : )

Oh goodness, these are fabulous! It’s hard to find bright colored evening bags that don’t shout gaudy. I like that it has no beading nor crystal embellishment. All class and all Chanel.

Now THIS is a novel idea! What a great update to the classic design, original without being too in-your-face “look at this it’s NEW!” And that shade of purple is just gorgeous!
