$5,900 Pre-order at Saks Fifth Avenue

Once again Bottega is making my heart flutter with an exquisitely crafted handbag. It being a crocodile bag makes it even more snobulous; and the unique double handles make it a Bag Snob museum worthy piece with a modern twist! The double handles are ergonomically designed so that when you carry it on the crook of your arm, it will sit flat against you, allowing the world to view this gorgeous bag! It also adds a bit of quirkiness to the bag which will appeal to our Snobs who are young enough to appreciate edgy fun but old enough for classic looks. I love the classic shape of the Luxanil, it would work for Bag Snobs of all ages. Whether you are a young snob who appreciates true luxury or a well seasoned snob looking for another great bag to add to your collection, the Bottega cocodile Luxanil is the one to snatch up! I can not believe it is only $5,900, any crocodile bag measuring almost 10 inches wide is at least $10,000, especially from a luxurious design house like Bottega. Bottega Veneta available at Saks.

  • It's gorgeous! I'm just worried...are the two handles connected or separate?

  • Caroline,
the handles are separate so you can also clutch them vertically. It's brilliant! I love it!

  • I love this bag!

  • Thank you Tina for the information concerning the Hermes Birkin bag.It was very considering and I took it very personally ! About this BW bag- I have also the same feelings.Too luxurious for me.I identify myself as an urban cowgirl wheeling and dealing amongst dogs and horses-occasionally treating myself with a weekend trip to a nearby- max.2hour flight- away country where I can dress and do a little shopping. Most of the time I manage extremely well with jeans, boots,a big coat and a big bag-YSL naturally.

  • the handles are fun! love this gorgeous bag.

  • That bag is absolutely fabulous. Hm...Nancy G or this one....

  • this is why bottega veneta is hands down my most favorite design house!!! gorgeous, classy design, skilled craftmanship, and pricing that's not insane! truly wearable art.

  • Czarina,

If you are choosing between Nancy Gonzalez and this Bottega, there is no competition! Bottega leathers are much more luxurious. If you look at Nancy Gonzalez skins (great price points) they are very thin, I'd go for this Bottega any day! It will only get better with age, not to mention retain its resale value.

It is like comparing an Aston Martin with a Toyota......
