About this BW bag- I have also the same feelings.Too luxurious for me.I identify myself as an urban cowgirl wheeling and dealing amongst dogs and horses-occasionally treating myself with a weekend trip to a nearby- max.2hour flight- away country where I can dress and do a little shopping.Most of the time I manage extremely well with jeans,boots,a big coat and a big bag-YSL naturally.

If you are choosing between Nancy Gonzalez and this Bottega, there is no competition! Bottega leathers are much more luxurious. If you look at Nancy Gonzalez skins (great price points) they are very thin, I'd go for this Bottega any day! It will only get better with age, not to mention retain its resale value.
It is like comparing an Aston Martin with a Toyota......
