I lusted over Vivier clutches last spring and am now anxiously awaiting its Fall deliveries. I stopped by the Madison Ave Boutique when I was in NYC and wanted to buy everything in sight! Simple as it is, there is something so very chic about that square buckle. The classic Vivier signature chrome buckle has defined the brand for decades and though the original flats worn by Catherine Deneuve in Belle du Jour is still produced, it is now available in wedges with jeweled and animal print details. The boutique is designed Vudafieri Partners, with cult French jeweler Herve van der Straeten who created furniture exclusively for the store to complement the footwear (now designed by Italian pro Bruno Frisoni). I personally am excited at the huge comeback of Roger Vivier and so is my friend Patsy; we had the most decadent day of sushi and shopping yesterday to celebrate her birthday and she bought two fabulous dresses that will go perfectly with this black patent Vivier bag.
