Whimsical and flirty ruled at the Louis Vuitton Resort 2008 show where MJ showed us once again why we fell in love with him in the first place. Forget the debauchery that has now become a signature in LV bags; what we have here ladies, is beautiful clothes. I loved the volume in the girly girl dresses created by floaty fabrics and contrasted with cheeky prints such as airplanes, speedboats and yachts. The mix of bright colors and feminine silhouettes make for clothes that will please everyone, not just jet setting social girls that resort collections cater to. I even like the large weekender bag trimmed in red patent leather (yes I know it's monstously huge but it's a travel bag and I am really into red today). I know what you're thinking- I'm softening; but it's really a great weekender bag for those quick trips to the Bermuda when you have to get away from the city grind (though we still detest the LV monogram this bag is not as vomit inducing as most)! All in all, a double thumbs up for Marc Jacobs and the Louis Vuitton Resort '08 collection from the Snob Girls.

That large bag actually looks pretty fine!!!
I wonder what he has for store for the men's stuff!
Wow Whimsical it is... love the red dress, and lavender silk skirt.
The clothing looks beautiful! I especially love the two dresses. I'm not sure about the bag though. I need a closer look : )
I LOVE EVERYTHING FROM THE RTW! Those shoes are too die! But the bag...no thanks. I still think all the bags are heinous...
nice-i'm dying to see the resort live...
The collection you're showing has my thumbs up- I don't hate a single thing here. Those sandals are awesome!
Whatever MJ learned during his time away is working for me- hooray!
Louis Vuitton is definitely a hot brand of handbags and accessories but I really prefer Chanel and this article just adds to my views I am not much feeling the styles, I really would prefer to have a Chanel or even a Chloe it would even cost me less.
