Fendi Embroidered Spy

fendiembroideredspy.jpg

I know we stopped paying attention to the Spy and all its incarnations but this one cannot be ignored even if it is just for a quick laugh. Apparently commissioned by a rag doll, this patchwork craft bag is full of beads and velvet details. But whatever. The thing that is shocking about this bag is that it is $6040!! Hello!!!! Who the @#$% would pay 6 grand for something Holly Hobby threw out? This is by far the worst way to spend $6,000. Burning it or gambling it away still has its merits compared to wasting it on sewing room floor scraps – not to mention your friends will never stop laughing at you (that is, if you have friends, assuming that if you did they would have stopped you from buying this or forced you to return it even if they weren’t with you when you bought it). In case you don’t believe this is actually being sold, it’s at Saks.

  1. You asked who would buy this bag. Lindsay, Jessica, Paris…and a few more stupid girls!

This bag is just wrong on so many levels.

  3. that’s too funny! and yes, if i had $6K to throw, i would not get this ugly bag.

Is Raggedy Ann designing for Fendi now?

  7. The word “travesty” comes to mind, but even that’s not strong enough.

Oh, my…now that’s just a special kind of horrible.

Honestly, why do they make such ugly things for so much money? I guess some people would actually buy it cuz they have bad taste.

Ew…Fendi hasn’t got over with this piece of junk? I am so sick of seeing them around. All those high school girls who hangs out in the mall has exact same design replica spy bags (besides Chanel Cambon). Fendi should be more creative for the new season, not to stick with that they’ve got for past 2 years already.

ROFLMAO. This looks like a replica of the real Spy sold by wannabes.

I love how the Saks site describes this bag as having “accents for homespun appeal”. As if someone would spend that much money on a bag that looks like a weekend craft project!

I agree that this bag is not the beautifulest spy, but compared to the minktail purses that was in the Fendi show for fall 2007, this spy is very glamorous…
