Can't get enough of Bottega Veneta? Take a trip to the Ginza district, Japan's answer to Beverly Hills, and you can shop to your heart's content in the largest Bottega boutique in the world! This five story 9700 sq. ft complex houses the full range of Bottega products, from bags, fine jewelry, to furnishing, it has it all! Backed by the Gucci group, Bottega is poised to take on the highly coveted Japanese market. Even though nearby luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci are not faring so well in Tokyo, Bottega has been doing gangbuster business, sales are up 57% for the first quarter this year. According to Bottega's Chief Exec Patrizio DiMarco, the brand's low key no-logo strategy is appealing to the sophisticated Japanese buyer.(Probably our Japanese Bag Snob readers :) I love Tokyo and used to spend a lot of time there, I can't wait to go back and shop at this monster Bottega store! For now you can satiate your Bottega hunger with bags like the one below from Net-a-porter

  • louis vuitton not doing so well? hmm, that's surprising. i thought japanese people LOVE lv. that boutique looks huge - the one in beverly hills is pretty tiny and not fun to shop in.

  • Phew! Finally caught up on all the entries I missed on vacation. I missed the bagsnobs!

  • Now Im envy of the Japanese! I mean just look at that store!!!

There is Bottega here in Vancouver just, not a big selection thats all. =(

  • I can vouch that it is very nice! Just visited it over the weekend...

  • hi tina, after reading some of your entries on bottega - especially the one about the montaigne in magnolia (pink), i was immediately enticed when a friend of mine who went on a shopping spree in milan came back with 2 of that (in pink!) it's beautiful and the leather is amazingly soft. BUT i have yet to use it as i realised PINK is really NOT my colour. do you think you can hook me up with one of some of your bagsnob fans in asia who may be keen to purchase that? it would be such a pity for it to sit in the dustbag in my closet!

  • I love this blog, all the informations about beautiful bags are here!

  • wow! beautiful handbag!
