According to Bottega’s Chief Exec Patrizio DiMarco, the brand’s low key no-logo strategy is appealing to the sophisticated Japanese buyer.(Probably our Japanese Bag Snob readers :) I love Tokyo and used to spend a lot of time there, I can’t wait to go back and shop at this monster Bottega store! louis vuitton not doing so well? hmm, that’s surprising. i thought japanese people LOVE lv. that boutique looks huge – the one in beverly hills is pretty tiny and not fun to shop in.

hi tina, after reading some of your entries on bottega – especially the one about the montaigne in magnolia (pink), i was immediately enticed when a friend of mine who went on a shopping spree in milan came back with 2 of that (in pink!) it’s beautiful and the leather is amazingly soft. BUT i have yet to use it as i realised PINK is really NOT my colour. do you think you can hook me up with one of some of your bagsnob fans in asia who may be keen to purchase that? it would be such a pity for it to sit in the dustbag in my closet!

  6. I love this blog, all the informations about beautiful bags are here!
