Even though nearby luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci are not faring so well in Tokyo, Bottega has been doing gangbuster business, sales are up 57% for the first quarter this year. louis vuitton not doing so well? hmm, that’s surprising. i thought japanese people LOVE lv. that boutique looks huge – the one in beverly hills is pretty tiny and not fun to shop in.

hi tina, after reading some of your entries on bottega – especially the one about the montaigne in magnolia (pink), i was immediately enticed when a friend of mine who went on a shopping spree in milan came back with 2 of that (in pink!) it’s beautiful and the leather is amazingly soft. BUT i have yet to use it as i realised PINK is really NOT my colour. do you think you can hook me up with one of some of your bagsnob fans in asia who may be keen to purchase that? it would be such a pity for it to sit in the dustbag in my closet!
