Well, we finally solved the mystery, it’s none other than Jessica Simpson, who doesn’t seem one bit embarrassed to be seen in public with this gross bag. And check out that big shit eatin’ grin on her face, it says “No style and damn proud!”. Go Jess! I bet she’s got one of the Tribute Barf Bags in her closet too. I know you Jessica fans are going to razz me and say she’s beautiful, rich, and famous so she can do whatever she wants but no, that’s not how it works here in Bag Snob world. It doesn’t matter how pretty, how rich, or how famous you are. If you look like an idiot, we will point out the obvious. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like you! That bag is actually a really cool good looking bag……..ask Oprah who totaly adores it!!! What she is wearing sucks, but the bag is beautiful.

I personally am not a fan of LV so this bag is as ugly as the last/next one as far as I’m concerned. I will give her a pass for two reasons – she is a total devotee to LV and always has been so this bag makes sense FOR HER and she’s happy. It’s really nice to see her comfortable with herself again. It even compensates for that ugly bag.

Her outfit! What on earth!? Yes, the bag is hideous but teaming LV brown canvas and leopard spots with the getup of a 45 year old high school drama teacher… wtf!? Full length purple skirt, lavender nana cardie, ginormous hoop earrings and clunky shoes… I have never admired Jess’ style but surely this is going too far. She needs to take a leaf out of Ms. Ricci’s book! Now THAT was a reinvention worth noting.
I would assume it was gifted to her as well. If not to her directly then foisted upon her stylist so the bag will get some free advertising.
