Marni Oversized Hobo

marnioversizedhobo.jpgYou know how we love Marni but no one is immune when it comes to ridiculousness like this. This is actually a cute bag but anything will lose its cuteness when it's larger than say, a side of beef. What the hell is this bag good for? I guess if I were a kangaroo I would put my child in there and carry her around with me. And for some reason, I've noticed that it's the small girls who love the big bags. I see it all the time and I am confounded by this phenomenon. Maybe it makes them feel like they are bigger?? We make fun of this all the time and people have emailed us for a formula on the height to size ratio of bag. As a rule of thumb, do not carry anything that is bigger than half your torso. At Net-a-porter $1230

  • whoa! this is of the 'garbage' bag variety a la Chanel's Vinyl Coco Cabas from Autumn 06.
    yikes!

  • It's actually quite nice.. reminds me of the coco cabas..

  • Laughably Large. It really does look like those brown trash bags we use for yard waste.

  • Love the bag, hate the size!!
If they did this bag smaller, it would be really great, as well as being cheaper!
MARNI, GO TO BAGSNOB, AND READ THE COMMENTS.

  • i know it's rather silly to carry large bags and i can see clearly now... but once upon a time not too long ago, when i was very worried about my weight, i used to think carrying large bags made me look dimunitive olsen twins style. i'm fairly petite (5'5") anyway, so i'm glad i ditched the preoccupation with weight and the big bag hag bags!

  • I am just confused. There really isn't a reason for the look of this bag. Doesn't really compliment much!! Big Bags are great, but this one could used some trimming down. Yikes is right.

  • MOST COOL FOR A BUSY GRAMMY
