Still searching for that perfect white summer bag? Look no more, Bottega Veneta’s “Julie” tote is all you need to get you through active summer days (this is also the bag of choice of fashion editors!). I can’t tell you how easy this bag is to use. The signature braided handle is versatile and may be used as double handles or be pulled in to a single body strap. The supple Italian leather is handcrafted and gets softer with each use. I love the hidden zipper on the outer pocket, it’s functional but does not detract from the simple lines of this bag. This is a bag that is unidentifiable as anything but a beautifully made bag, one that will last forever. I am continually impressed with the durability and functionality of Bottega bags. I have been putting mine through the ringer, at the gym, at the park with my son, etc. I am notoriously hard on my things but my gorgeous Bottega Campana bag is still in pristine condition. It’s definitely a worthy and very chic investment. $1,350 at Bergdorf Goodman

I am addicted to your blog! And I love Bottega bags. But I am trying to figure out how to keep my white bags white, especially the handles. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Molly
The woven handles are gorgeous! I’m still looking for a men’s BV piece..
Hi Molly
I keep my white bags white by first taking it to a trusted leather/shoe place. They’ll treat it so it’s easier to clean later. If you get stains, they can always re-dye it each summer. But I have not had the need to do so. I have over half a dozen white bags, all still very white

Bag Snob
This looks to be a great soft & supple bag … and the woven handles ARE gorgeous ! Not sure weather it gives it too much of a beach-touch for Europe or not …
That is another great bag from BV,
simple but so elegant.
I like the Campana Bag more than this because
I love the leatherwork but still, Julie Bag it’s beautiful too.
I love Bottega. They make the best bags.
I have the Julie in brown, and I use it nearly every day. The braided handles are terrific — very easy on the shoulder.
Now I want the Julie in pink!
I just got the Julie yesterday in the color called Pourdre (mauve?) – it is stunningly beautiful in its simplicity. The handles melt in your hands or on your shoulder – like a pillow.
I have been looking at this post on Bag Snob for weeks and I saw it finally @ NM. Its a gorgeous sunny day in Chicago and The Julie is going with me to an outdoor lunch at a corner cafe – I can’t wait!
Thank you for the great review!
I’m in love with this bag! The pink/mauve color looks amazing!
They have blush, cognac and white finally available on sale at bluefly.com!
Hey Jewel Box -
Is your BV Julie chocolate brown or more tan in colour? Thanks!
