The Kooba Natasha

Looking for a hot bag for Spring that's affordable? We figured because that is what we keep hearing. Sometimes, all you need is a functional bag you can take everywhere and not fret over where you're going. I get all precious with some of my bags and it makes life complicated, like I need a white bag but I know I am going to be out all day so I'll need snacks and beverages (for my daughter), not to mention I don't keep pens in my bags for fear of ink explosion so if I am going to a business meeting I have to use a non-precious bag. Men can never understand the logistical nightmare we face each day! Anyway, the Natasha from Kooba is super cute for Spring/Summer, you can wear it with just about anything. I love the stitching detail and the subtle hardware but the best part is that the bag unfolds into a large tote! Fab, right? At $625, I would even use it as a beach bag so I can go sand to shore without missing a beat. Available at Kooba.

  • That's curious... with all of your bags and accessories, do you not have a special case for the pens, so if they explode they do not do damage to your beautiful handbags? I love a beautiful handbag and if I could afford a beautiful AND expensive handbag, you can bet I'd find a way to make sure I have it in a business meeting where I will need to have a pen handy... Or at the very least, carry a very expensive mechanical pencil...

  • I have always wanted a Kooba bag - but I have found a lot of the past designs were nice, but I didn't like the leather - for the price I am paying I felt I deserve better leather as oppose to the rough cowhide that smells (at least that's what I saw when I was shopping for Koobas).

Anyway - I did see the Natasha bag in person, I thought it was a beautiful shape - it looks even nicer when you put it on, it rounds out at the bottom and it is extremely versatile! The patent leather is also nice - I think this is the best Kooba bag so far!

Unfortunately I already went ahead with the LAMB Capri Satchel when I saw the bag and it was too late for me to take it back to the store - maybe I can find one on sale later on!

Btw- Kelly - just put a small pencil case/pouch in your bag! Then you don't have to worry about leaking pens! There are plenty of sleek styles there that dosen't even look like a pencil case. But I guess we are in a different mind set - I would never use a $xxx bag at the beach and I would actually worry about my pen exploding in any of my bags, even if they are cheap!

But either way - I would also recommend the Kooba Natasha!

  • Affordable? Hmmm... But it's FABULOUS! Totally a take anywhere kind of bag.

  • Hah!!! $625 is affordable? In whose universe?

  • I always wonder what kind of money you make maybe youll tell us sometime...because 600 beach bag is sad...I hope you donate a lot of money and bags to charity....

  • well like it or not, some people (translate: rich people) like us considers $625 to be cheap. you think $625 is cheap? think again before you see Hermès price tag, or maybe just don't go in to these kind of store if you can't afford it.

  • I agree with Victoria!
