Kate the Great

Kate the great. It's amazing how everyone including you the bag snob jumps on the Kate Moss bandwagon heaping lauds on her for the ability to dress (in your opinions) well. Treating her as if she is someone deserving of the praise. Your hipocrisy amazes me Marc Jacobs, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Ritchie have all been raked over the coals by you for their personal misconduct. Yet post after post about Kate she remains on a pedestal. She is the epitome of the word skank a low life drug addict.

Amara, sorry but the Bag Snob girls never took down Marc, Lindsay and Nicole for their personal habits, they ragged on them for being slaves to fashion, something which for all her faults Kate is not. She deserves the title Kate the Great - she is unmatched in her field and despite her personal problems, she certainly does know how to dress and she is a fantastic model and now, designer - all she assumes to be. She never said she was a role model. Marc however isn't always a great designer, Lindsay is not always a great actress, and Nicole ... well, what has Nicole done for anybody?

If Nicole or Lindsay had a tiny fraction of Kate's style the Bag Snobs would not be ragging on them. But they rely on raisin faced stylists and have no clue how to get dressed even to walk the dog.

As for Marc, anyone responsible for that Tribute patchwork bag deserves to be raked over the coals.

Though I am not a big fan of Kate's personal choices I have to admit the girl's got inimitable style.

You are blinded with heroine worship like the legions who are brainwashed by the fashion media into thinking that everything Kate puts on is great. I guess one collection of clothes makes Kate a great designer. Please. You should check your facts. It was on this site that the bag snobs ripped Marc about his boy toy and his relationship with Lindsay Lohan. I hold none of these people to any standards and don't care to read about thier personal lives. However, if you are going to mention Marcs relationship with his lover in effect questioning his judgement, why not Kate?

As for Nicole and Lindsay I totally feel that people who hire stylists are slaves to fashion and I have no problems with them trashiing them for that. But, on occasion they have trashed them for their personal life.

Kate's personal life is a separate issue from her style.
I have never seen a picture of her- even the most casual shot- where she doesn't look fantastic.

That's the point the original poster was making. Personal lifestyle choices are not commented on fairly. If you bash one bash them all.
