Jil Sander Spring 2007

jilsanderhandbag.jpgWe’ve always been drawn to the subtle luxury of Jil Sander clothes and it’s new line of bags and shoes designed by Raf Simons is the ultimate in understated chic. It’s all about simple lines made with top quality leather and logos so small you have to really search to find it. This is not a brand that will create fans in Lindsay or Paris as it won’t get them the attention they so crave, it is for the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and other women who prefer class over crass. And the shoes, I love the fabulously structured shoes that bring to mind sleek high rises in metropolis, size 35.5 please! At Barneys New York. (Bag on right $1,995)

  1. The shoes are HOT but at 5’10 not for me =(. I wish designers made really cute shoes like that but with a smaller (2 inch) heel. Oh well I can dream.

My cousin has an older Jil Sander bag and I love it. It’s so casual looking, but very classy. It holds a ton.

I am loving those shoes! Me being 5″3 the higher the better – crank them heels up!

I love the new cut out wedge craze that’s up and coming for Spring. There are several cheaper versions out there that have the same elegance as the Jil Sander Version.

I plan on grabbing up maybe one or two pair, but not too many, as I fear it is a fleeting trend.

  5. where can I go online to find Jil Sanders cut out wedge heels, or any other brands with the same style? please help i’ve been searching forever

  6. N.E.X.T. makes a wedge pump exactly like that one. It comes in bronze and black patent leather. I bought mine a DSW warehouse (dswshoes.com) for $60.00. They are just like the Jill Sanders heels, they are really incredible and very fashion forward!! You can view the shoes on my fashion blog at http://www.joanngraphics.com/fdiary
