Is this as weird looking to you as it is to me? I fear being in high altitude for so long has clouded my judgement but look at these pockets hanging off the bag, do they not remind you of fat bloated cow tongues dangling at the butcher? Or perhaps the designers at Bulga have serious issues with saggy breasts. We said we liked functional outer pockets on a bag but that doesn't mean we want half a dozen pockets that are a.)not cute and b.)not useful, imagine having to dig through all 7 pockets to find a ringing cell phone or house keys. Ick ick ick. $795 at Bergdorf Goodman (But seriously, if you think this is cute please let us know and please explain why you think so many pockets tiered on top of one another is even practical unless you collect quarters and want to keep them organized)

One of our readers was considerate enough to share this incredible find with us. It is a hook that hangs your bags on tables so you can keep an eye on it and have it be out of your way! You can even get one that is personalized (which I did). I haven't received mine yet so I don't know how it works but I will let you know as soon as I do! $17.95 at So Hooked and Bag Snob readers get 10% off with coupon code "snob".

Miu Miu does it again, tickling us silly with another adorable bag! Ok, the bows might be a little cutesy but if you're a sophisticated girly girl, this bag was made for you because you know you can pull this off with a sleek and flirty outfit. The top flap zips and folds over which is an unexpected detail I really like. The straps and hardware on the front gives this bag a bit more substance so it doesn't actually look like a bag my 2 year old daughter would use (yes, it's shocking but she is already obsessed with bags and shoes). It also comes with a detachable strap. At Bergdorf Goodman for $1050.

I prefer this smaller version of the Edith, it's really cute and not as school girlish. I know many of you wondered why the Edith did not make it on our Best of list and here is the reason: we had a problem with the stitching; it was not the kind of quality we demand and expect. It seemed loose and would fall apart, although we haven't had any problems with it actually falling apart, but then again, I hardly used the bag. I find it stiff and hard to carry. It's one of those "good from far but far from good" kind of things. The small version has the same stitching so it is still questionable but I really love this in white with the tan contrast! At Neiman Marcus for $1105.
This bag called the "My Dior Duffle" is the cutest thing I've seen from Dior in a long time. I love the little pleats and subtle Dior logo in front. The pockets on either side give this frame some personality and function! I like the easy access of the outside pocket for my phone because it really doesn't matter what kind of interior pockets there are, I still can't get to my phone in time and I hate fumbling through my bag every time I get a call. And valet tickets, forget about it, if I put that anywhere inside my bag, this is what I'll be hearing from my husband on our way out, "How hard is it to hang on to a little ticket?". And this might seem like a minor detail but I appreciate it, the stitching on the handle is on top so that your fingers are more comfortable holding the smooth side. The stitching is so well done it's actually something you want to show. At Neiman Marcus for $1790.
I am still in Vail, a beautiful small mountain resort town that boasts some of the best skiing in the world but without a single worthy boutique to exercise my wallet in (and trust me, it desperately needs the workout as I have not bought a thing all year). Thanks to wireless modem however, I am able to shop online! I just placed an order for this fabulous metallic Alessandra bag by Anya Hindmarch. We lusted over the haircalf version but this rockin' subtle gold color is just too divine to pass up. $895 at Anya Hindmarch, Soho, 115 Greene Street, New York, T: +1 212 343 8147 Anya's online boutique or Saks Fifth Avenue (but they're backordered til March so I'd try Anya's boutique first!)
Fab Sugar thinks America Ferrera, star of Ugly Betty, is fabulous with her glamorous curves and we agree!

Manolo says, the Manolo is dismayed to see that once again the Bloggies, the annual awards for the best blogs, have neglected to include the catagory for the Fashion Blogs! If you are the fashion blogger, and like the Manolo are unhappy with this, write the post expressing your displeasure and send the organizers of the awards the polite but firm email.

This is the sunshine I've been dreaming of in the midst of the dreary winter weather. It makes me so happy to look at this bag and think of all the fun things I'll be doing in the spring and summer, like going to Martha's Vineyard wearing linen pants and flip flops! Yellow is the greatest color for a bag to brighten up any outfit to be fit for sunny days. This bag is perfect for holding a cardigan, romance novel and gossip magazines for a relaxing day at the park. I haven't even gotten to the best part yet, it is on sale for only $879 - you better get your hands on this before other cold weather daydreamers snatch it up. At Bottega Veneta.
