I love this story from TMZ about Scout Willis (Demi and Bruce's daughter) working at Marc by Marc Jacobs in LA. Not that I care she is rich and is working, what's ridiculous is that she has the resources for a better wardrobe yet she's wearing this hobo inspired outfit. All I'm saying is, you couldn't show up to work at Chanel looking like this.scoutwillis.jpg

  • Aww..I think she looks young and freespirited..in a way (Is she older or younger than Rumer?)

  • LAMB BAGS ARE OUT WHY ARE YOU NOT WRITING ABOUT THEM??!!! Do you not like Gwen's style? Or something else? Go see it's at nordstrom

  • Hi there Cat, of course we love Gwen! She is on top of our "it" list! http://www.bagsnob.com/2005/09/our_top_10_it_girls_1.html

We love her fun and cheeky line of clothes from L.A.M.B and will definitely check out the bags.

    Best,

  • I've read that Chanel gives their employees TWO suits to wear. The employees also go through a comprehensive training process, and have to wear their hair a certain way, nails a certain length, etc. It sounds really fabulous!

Personally, in my ever so humble opinion, I am not much of a fan of Gwen's. I find her slightly contrived and her entourage of clones scares me a bit.

  • If Scout's outfit is any example of what you wear to work for Marc Jacobs, I think it's very telling about how that company works. It looks to me, that it's about just putting the name out there, not about the substance of the design. Marc's Spring line is not anything new. What he has shown was done so much better by many of the Japanese designers. The bags have not been anything to move the design of the handbag more forward. I think the line and it's designer need to renew their focus to what women, not girls, need for their lifestyles. If you are looking for the bag that's moving forward, refer to the blog on Anya's bags. That's is some exciting design for hand bags!
If you are looking for great spring clothes, go to Jason Wu!

  • At least Scout's not tossing her cookies at Hyde. God knows she's got the genes for it. I'm having a problem with the socks and shoes. I hope she's building her resume and finds someone worthy of her work ethic.(As for M.J., Perry Ellis must be rolling in his grave.)
