Crocodile always said “luxury” to me, and I loved it. Suddenly it’s become ubiquitous and banal and maybe even vulgar. Is it just me? Is the crocodile being hunted to extinction?Everywhere I turn it’s croc this and mock croc that and not just in my own closet. I don’t like it anymore. I bought a beautiful wide ostrich belt the other day and I felt…purified! I hope the pendulum swings back. I’m such a snob, I hate when what I LOVE becomes trendy.
