I picked up this gorgeous Nina Ricci by Lars Nilsson bubble hem jacket (his last collection, Olivier Theyskens of Rochas fame is slated to take over as Creative Director next season), the photo really does not do it justice. It's an ultra feminine and flattering shape and will look darling with a skirt or over jeans, discounted to $494 from $988! I also snagged 3 other jackets, 2 dresses (including this fabulous
Chloe dress
!), and a top, all of it was 50% off so half of it was free :)

The Bag Snob girls love France because it is the snobbiest country in the world not to mention the home of our beloved Hermes. We also admire the effortless style of French women and can't wait to read Fab Sugar's recommendation, "French Women for all Seasons".

So she's not French and she's kind of annoying but I have to admit Victoria Beckham's wardrobe is really fab. Lesley shows you how to steal Posh's style for less at Fashiontribes.com.vicbekham.jpg

French Vogue featured Paris Hilton on it's highly coveted cover this month, I personally think the awful styling was done on purpose to make Paris look stupid (which is something she already does brilliantly without help). Beauty Addict thinks Editor Carine Roitfield has gone crazy but I bet she's laughing her ass off.

Natalie at Coquette debuts Mademoiselle Parasuco, a new line from French Canadian company Parasuco.

Second City Style interviews Caroline Priebe, designer of Uluru. She's not French but we love her sweaters anyway.

Holiday Little "Black" Dress

This isn't your typical nondescript little black dress, in fact, it isn't even black. This Graeme silk gown in tobacco is stunning yet it is understated enough for multiple wears during your holiday party season. The cummerbund stitching detail makes it super flattering, so go ahead and pig out! How much fun can you be having if you're chewing on carrot sticks all night? And have another glass of champagne or two while you're at it. The color of the dress is so soft it is screaming out for a fab gold bag to go with it and the Anya Hindmarch gold Prague clutch would be absolutely perfect. It will also go with just about everything you have in your closet. Gold is like black in many ways, except way less boring. Graeme dress on sale at Net a Porter for $1410. Anya Hindmarch clutch at Net a Porter for $424.

Kotur Calfskin Tote

Labeled as the new kid on the block in the world of fashion, Fiona Kotur is anything but. A former designer at Ralph Lauren, she is also responsible for the success of Old Navy and Tory Burch (whom she met while working for Lauren). After moving to Hong Kong in 2002 she decided to start her own line of bags, aptly named Kotur. We adore this chocolate calfskin tote with golden hardware replicated after Chinese locks found on Ming Dynasty chests, what a creative way to combine classic Asian elements into this modern tote! The delicate gold shoulder chains adds glamour and lightens up the heaviness of a furry bag. Kotur's collection has a wide range of price points from $250 - $1,500, guaranteeing an avid following from both high society princesses to working gals on a stringent budget. The calfskin tote is available at Vivre for $595. At this price point it won't last long, get yours today!

Bag Snob Gift Guide

I love shopping for my family and friends almost as much as I do for myself, the hunt for the perfect gift is so much fun! I know what you are thinking though, you don't even have time to shop let alone shop for gifts but that's what we're here for! Christmas is just around the corner so we'll be featuring gift ideas from our favorite online boutiques every week.

It's all about living beautifully at Vivre but it doesn't mean you have to spend millions to live well. Eva Jeanbert-Lorenzotti, the tres elegant owner and founder of Vivre, offers chic items for all budgets and tastes. We love the fabulous embossed croc leather pouches she designed for her private label that combines our two favorite elements, metallic and croc. It's a perfect stocking stuffer for your best friend, at 8 1/4" x 5 1/2", it's large enough to hold all of her make up but not so big that it won't fit in her bag. $150 at Vivre.

Christmas Decorating by Fendi

Is this a Christmas tree ornament? If so, this is the equivalent of hanging tinsel. As if the B bag itself isn't bad enough, Fendi comes up with this garish Las Vegas showgirl gold metallic mini B (only 5 1/2" x 8") trimmed in red velvet, otherwise known as the worst combination in color coordination. Yuck!! So is the idea that you grab it off the tree on your way out to some tacky holiday party? You know, that's not a bad idea, I can have a permanent tree erected in my living room displaying all of my bags, it'll be decorative and functional! I would have the nicest house on the block, NOT!! $1390 at Saks.

No One Asked But Might We Suggest.....

The power of photoshop is truly amazing, but if you ever want to walk around in the clear bright daylight, you really need to take care of your skin. You should use something for the wind chapped leathery skin, like the Alchemie Forever Kantic Lights Off Night Cream, which hydrates, softens and helps with redness. Get the Eye Balm too, in fact, get two and slather it on real thick.

Everybody wants to feed you but we only suggest that you consider a smaller bag - like the Novak clutch. This is a good choice for you because you like super popular bags, which the iconic Novak is, and the smaller clutch version won't look like it's going to topple your avian-like frame.

The Lanvin Satin Ludvine is Divine

As if you don't already know, we LOVE Lanvin. And here is why. This satin Ludvine bag is classic and polished yet the vintage goat handles and lucite frame makes it updated and young. All the design elements are subtle but all together this bag is striking and interesting and just gorgeous. I love how it can be worn to either lighten up a serious suit or gussy up jeans and a cardigan. This bag definitely has the "it" factor to give you the luster your vanity requires. At Barneys New York for $2230.
