Scouring vintage stores for rare treasures is one of our favorite past times (remember the white ostrich Hermes kelly I found last summer?) and one of the best places to score is Deco Jewels in SoHo. Check out this fabulous lucite clutch from 1920′s art deco era for $495. It’s so elegant and chic, especially against a black dress. I love the etching on the lucite, and how cool to be able to see the contents of your bag! Of course you’ll have to make sure you leave the x-rated items at home

This really is so elegant! that’s a piece you’d keep for a lifetime, I just love it – wonder if I’ll be able to find anything like that here in NZ…
