Whaaaahht??? thhhe!!!! fffffffffff am I looking at??? This is total insanity!! Words are not necessary to convey the offenses to my senses and sensibilities. I think LV has finally realized that their precious little monogram logo on brainless plastic bags are no longer enough to get women tripping over their Louboutin platforms to get one so the answer must be ..... bags drowned in an avalanche of trim?? I didn’t even include all the stupid Chinatown shoppers, as if that is supposed to be so pedestrian chic. The only explanation I can think of is that Marc Jacobs is on crack. What else could it be? But it doesn’t matter what we think, print magazines, either contractually or mindlessly, must worship whatever droppings Marc Jacobs leaves behind (we predict they all wax on about bag with all the buttons). All we ask is that you stand your ground and not be brainwashed into believing that unless you love this, you’re below the cutting edge.

  • I know! Right? So incredibly hideous!!! I was speechless when I saw it myself... just when you thought it couldn't get worse than the faux leopard bag they come out with this group of ridiculous bags.

  • Bagsnob! You're my favorite blog ever created and I respectfully, must disagree with your review on the new Vuitton bags!
I may be a foxymoron-but I think that those Tati-inspired, plastic, uggs muggs plaid shopping totes are evil genius and fascinating. Absolutely am living for the insanity of it all. And they probably will never see the light of day or at least a sale floor-the big LV fans wont let anyone near those bags. Aren't you cracking up at the prospect of seeing the struggle that Teen Vogue wil have over big Vogue or Seventeen and Bazaar-who will get and who will demand the exclusive. I can hear the screaming and crying now.....!

The rest of us who can afford nothing or who simply have no desire to get knocked over at the waiting list station on 57th street -will buy the Canal Street versions. And be kind of happy.

  • damn. fug isn't even the word. sometimes, when companies make bags like this (*cough*COACH) I think they wanted to re-use the scraps of other bags and had a "a-HA!" mad scientist moment.

  • Lordy Lordy Lordy! I agree with LT, definitely a mad scientist moment.

  • I HATE patchwork bags! They look like they're made from crap swept off the cutting room floor. You know it's bad when the recent leopard/monogram/metallic snakeskin/tortoise monostrosities seem understated. Really, I think Marc is poking fun at all of the fashion victims who will snap these up.

  • Now while I may in general disagree with you about LV - I LOVE them- THESE ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also love MJ, but this is an eff'ing mess... ah well the good thing is that frees up purse money for something else....

  • I agree with Gigi. Marc is totally laughing his ass off right now knowing that stupid chicks will eat all this up (maybe like his favorite muse, Lindsay Lohan).

  • Totally awful. I am so turned off by LV that when I see a woman with one I have to second guess her taste. The sad thing is that they are probably going to charge over $2000 for those junkyard bags

  • This is just aweful! I love Louis Vuitton handbags but this spring collection belongs in the trash.

  • Two words - UG-LY!

  • no i think that they are bralliant! i mean honestly now a day any kind of idiot can put out a line of clothes and it be a hit!! Yet i think that marc jacobs is one of the true designers who has kept that fresh sparkle to him .Plus i think fashion now a days lacks the art that come with making true fashion, and these bags show that there is something of that true art left in the world of fashion!! and if you don't agree....well u don't have to!

  • omg those are the $1 bags that Chinese grandmas use in the lower east side. its slightly offensive that he's trying to glamourize what some poor people use for luggage because they have to.

thanks for ripping apart this awful LV line!

  • Buttons on a LV bag?!?! My Lord I've seen it all!EVen though the denim is a good concept, somehow i cant match it with LV anymore since Guess has been launching its own line of denim bags. It just doesnt do it for me anymore :(

  • OMG! I agree. These bags are the ugliest bags I have ever seen. There is no way I would spend ANY money on one of those. I would not even give chinatown sellers 25 bucks for a knockoff, these are terrible. That is not fashion but trash!

  • Hello, Dose anyone know of a good online source where you can get some nice LV bags for a good price? I have spent a fortune trying to get a nice bag but they send me junk everytime.

  • SICK!

  • I agree with the Chinese grandma comment, however, does anyone know anything about the eurobella and designersimports websites? Are they a scam? Thanks

  • To be honest, I actually quite like the spring '07 collection. I think you all need to lighten up a bit. The designs are different, yes, but who all wants to see the same thing happening over and over again. The bags look fun, and i'd definatly splash out to get myself one.

    Resept To LV.

  • Im extremely shocked with all of your comments!
    These bags are lovely.
All of you guys seem to just like the orginal, plain stuff, and cannot go through with trying something different.
These bags are interesting and have a mixture of differents patterns and styles at once, which makes them so unique. And that button bag is extravagent! There are many colours on it which makes it go with anything, and is such a happy and energetic bag. You guys really need to take a second look at these, this is fashion not just some random bags, fashion is suppose to be different and unique.

  • i really can't defend the patchwork bags, but i absolutely love that button one. saw it in the March W issue & immediately coveted it.

  • Toya asked a question I've been dying to know the answer to-is Eurobella legit? I almost ordered a Dior Gaucho for $700ish and decided to wait and find out more about the company. $700 is just enough to make me think they might not be fake but low enough to think that they might be. They hounded me about why I didn't complete my transaction util I emailed them and then sent me a nasty reply! And I had been really nice. So, do they sell the real thing or are they overpriced spicybags?

  • What's ridiculous is the price....some $47,000 for fabric and buttons sewed togther. This is what my sewing creations looked like when I was 7!

  • could someone please tell me if Eurobella Collections website sell the authentic bags? or is is just the overpriced knock-offs?!

  • Just FYI, they just released the price of the street bag (what they call their hideous chinatown shopping bag) and it's 1,900.00 euro! (the smaller version in 1,200.00 euro) In the Philippines, this bag is what people use to carry the fresh fish they buy from the wet markets. Also, in the Narita airport in Japan, that is what they give out as a free bag, if ever you need one. I really, for the life of me, can't imagine why Louis Vuitton would make this.

  • About your comment on eurobella collections, I've been wondering the same thing too, if they're selling authentics and haven't gotten a response. Though my gut says to just stick with saks, neiman marcus, or the actual boutiques cause they are definitely the real thing there.

  • Yeah I also am going crazy trying to figure out whether Eurobella is legitimate or not. So if anyone has any knowledge on the subject, please let me know. I'm dying for a Balenciaga and the thought of getting one for so much less, seems much too good to be true.

  • Dont Buy Eurobella. I just ordered a Gucci and compared the dust bag with my original gucci dustbag - fake...very fake. Also, they forgot to put in the authenticity tag. I am sending this one back tomorrow!

  • Hi
Concerning eurobella, I ordered LE DIX balenciaga bag and went to neimann marcus. it's authentic...I guess you can trust them ...well at least at my experience

  • I would like to hear more about eurobella. I was considering getting a prada bag. Then I decided to do some checking. Their prices are unbelievable. If they advertised their physical address I would probably be more comfortable. Any more info out there? Thanks

  • I don't think it looks that bad. I'm a bracher and emden, Lulu guinness fanatic so I tend to appreciate something more ecclectic.

Although I must say I won't give Marc Jacobs any points for originality because those styles have been used by many designers such as Radley, fiorelli, etc.

  • I purchased a Gucci bag from Eurobella and have recently seen the same bag in the store. It is exactly the same except mine does not close with a snap as the one in the store. I e mailed and called them and they did respond. I plan on taking the bag to the store to have it authenticated, so I will let all know what the end result is.

  • I also purchased a gucci bag from eurobella for only $288. It hasn't come in the mail yet, but i am worried it might be fake now. When it comes, i will also tell fellow readers if you can trust eurobella or not.

  • DO NOT TRUST EUROBELLA COLLECTIONS!
their bags are fake, even though they claim it is 100% authentic.

  • BEWARE!!! EUROBELLA COLLECTIONS IS A FAKE! REMEMBER IF YOU RETURN THE BAG THEY TAKE ABOUT 15% for stocking fee. That adds up to $100.00 They know they have fake bags and know people will return it so they can collect the 15% DON'T BE STUPID!! LIKE ME I WAS STUPID!!!!

  • I just bought a bag at Eurobella Collection, The bag is authentic and the price was great.
    The service was amazing!

  • I'm so confused! I'm an inch away from buying a gucci bag from eurobella collections....some ppl say they received fag bags and some received authentic?????? what to dooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any suggestions???

  • EUROBELLA COLLECTIONS DOES NOT SELL AUTHENTIC HANDBAGS.
I KNOW THE OWNER - SHE IS MY FORMER FRIEND.
SHE ORDERS THEM FROM CHINA (replica websites) AND RE-SELLS THEM AS REAL.

HER BUSINESS IS SUCH A SCAM - SHE HAS THEM DELIVERED TO PO BOXES UNDER SOMEONE'S NAME AND HAS A DIFFERENT PO BOX AS A RETURN ADDRESS.
SHE LIVES AND WORKS OUT OF SOUTH BEACH

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT BUY FROM HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Do Not (repeat to self) Do Not buy anything from Euro Bella Collections! Totally fake merchandise with faux dust covers/authenticity cards/bad quality leather look-a-likes that can be found on the streets of NYC for mere dollars! The re-stocking fee has now gone up to 25% so I now owe $178.00 on a faux Gucci worth no more than $30.00 - SHAME ON ME!!!!
      BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
