Bag Snob girls are helpful

We received an email from a reader who had quality issues with her Gryson bag and we immediately sent it to Gryson’s rep. Our reader not only received an email from the rep, but from Peter Gryson himself!(Peter is married to Joy Gryson- the designer of Gryson bags) See, we told you we are helpful :) We also commend Peter Gryson for contacting our reader, he has restored her faith in the Gryson brand (ours too by the way) and she is once again carrying her Gryson bag proudly. We love Gryson and will continue to support a brand with this kind of leadership. Here is the letter from the CEO of Gryson:

Dear Shirley,

My name is Peter Gryson, and I am writing to apologize

for the defect that occurred with your “Olivia” bag

braided handle. We are very upset that this happened

and we are glad that On Pedder replaced this unit for

you.

We have had some isolated incidents with our braided

handles from our first production run, but we have

since addressed the problem. Moreover I just returned

from Italy last week and we have completely revised

our mode of construction for our braided handle and as

a result these type of issues should not present

themselves in the future.

I am glad to hear you like the look of the bags and I

am very sorry for this inconvenience. We are committed

to excellence in quality as well as design and we want

great customers like you to feel confident in our

brand.

Again, please accept our most sincere apology, and we

hope you will consider GRYSON bags and shoes in

future, the Spring 07 line looks great!!!!!

Humbly and with respect,

Peter Gryson

President + CEO

GRYSON INC.

    Dear K,

I will call them on your behalf next week. But you must make up your mind about the color and size. I think the vermillon red in 30cm is a good choice. You can get the 35cm in black next year when we make our goal of 6 figures.

    Kisses

I’ve had my black Chloe Paddington bag for about two weeks now. I love it! However, I’ve noticed that the gold around the padlock is chipping. I got my bag at Bloomingdale’s! Is it a defect or just natural wear and tear?
