A modernist-romantic, Ann Demeulemeester is the designer of choice for urban fashionistas who do not want to look like Barbie dolls. No bows and frills from this Antwerp designer, her collection is often filled with sophisticated and sensual separates that are timeless and always appropriate. Her bags also reflect similar sensibilites, our favorite of the season is the Boston bag in antiquated metallic silver or gold, an uber chic bag that doesn’t try too hard. $949 at aloharag.
I do not like this. It looks like the bag was dipped into a grey-puke brown tye-dye mix. It’s horrid!
