We're not usually suckers for print ads but check out the latest fall campaign from Tod's, one of our favorite designers if you haven't noticed. Do you not want to dive in and live the Tod's lifestyle on the palazzo? This girl is so chic in her Derek Lam designed Tod's clothes and hip Tod's bags, but not in the trying too hard way, it looks so easy and effortless (and yes, I know she has a posse of stylists and make up/hair people). I also love how these Tod's bags pop out against the background, it's not colors you'd pick out at the store but it's a gorgeous contrast against fall's somber palette. I saw this at Neiman Marcus and I became disoriented for a moment. I thought I was in Tokyo at a Sanrio store but I turned and saw that the Chanel boutique was still behind me so I was sure I was still at Neimans. This is a serious and loud WTF, even for Judith Leiber. I thought only old ladies bought Judith Leiber? But it's funny and cute and if it wasn't $1895, I would get it as a gag gift for my Bag Snob partner, who is the only person I know young enough to still handle Hello Kitty but adult enough to have functions that require a glittery clutch. It really is hard to find something of quality and design in mind for under $1000. We would love to be chic on a penny but unfortunately fab doesn't come cheap..... but then there are those finds. Like this snob worthy bag that is really affordable. I was really impressed when I saw that this is a Cole Haan bag. It has a totally cool styling and it has these super functional side panels that are actually deep wide pockets. It reminds me of the Prada bags from the good old days where the center compartment was zipped, with slots on either side that are open. I love the subtle detailing on the pocket flap and the best part, it doesn't say Cole Haan really big anywhere so it just looks like a really cool bag. I think this is the cheapest bag we ever featured. Amazingly cheap - $295 at Saks.

Fashion and football don't mix but since it's officially football season, I need to say to Fashionalbe Kiffen that Notre Dame is certainly NOT the greatest college in the land, at least your football team isn't. That is all. Football, and sports for that matter, will never be mentioned here ever again.

The Bag Blog showed this picture of Kirsten Dunst. I'm really not bothered by the fact that she is giving the finger here. We have more pressing concerns and a word of advice - never admit you ever owned this bag! =)
