How incredibly cute is this bag? Miuccia Prada’s whimsical style shines through everything she designs for Miu Miu, her self professed alter ego. Unlike Prada’s simple chic esthetics, the Miu Miu girl is funky, fun, and sometimes eccentric, but always fabulous! The Coffer suede bag in chocolate brown is to-die, we love the braided handle and the multi layered top flap, and the ruching on the suede makes it that much more luxurious (and yes, it does resemble a bit like your aunt’s sharpei puppy but we’ll forgive as it makes the bag SO soft). You know how practical we are, we wouldn’t tell you to buy something that wasn’t multi-purpose. This is also a wonderful bag to cuddle up to when you’re on the plane, train, or chauffered automobile. $1295 at Net-a-Porter.

The black with gold will get more wear, but the brown suede is so divine! If you want to be able to use it all year long, go for the black!

Hi. I so love reading your blog which is my every-night read. I loved this Miu Miu Coffer bag that you’ve reviewed on and also the Chanel bowler bag. Am really un-decided on it.. really loved this trendy look but yet I wondered if I should pay a little more to get chanel instead.. will be my very 1st chanel.. Any suggestions. I am in my late 30+ and the chanel bag would seem more appropriate for me.. although i so loved the miu miu coffer bag. Thanks.

I am 16 and can’t spend so much on a bag. I love this bag and found a great look a like. My mom said she would get it but I can’t decide b/w the white, black or black patent.

hey gals, I finally made it to my first it-piece which is the coffer bag in black (it took me twoo weeks, had to phone PRADA Germany since you cannot order MIU MIU oline in germany) and I am very satisfied since it is the right piece for a young woman. It is trendy yet no IT bag, rather a classic at least for MIU MIU, it fits to nearly everything (well, not to summer dresses but who said I have only one bag?!) and it looks impressing enough even for those who have no idea baout labels, tested on different people
if you got with a classic colour you can stay with these bags some years and then sell or swap them with some friend. now I guess I will haunt a small chanel 2.55 which fits also with a summer dress!
