Just to be fair because we do like YSL, here is a perfectly beautiful and rational bag that we love! These are the kind of bags we really encourage for the occassional shoppers - just sticking to the basics. This is a little mature but cute and hip youngster like our Bag Snob fans can certainly liven this up with a funky outfit. And that is the lesson of the day - go funky with your clothes but keep your bags tasteful. Pre-order the Severine at Bergdorf's $1595.
My closet definitely has a handbag or several handbags that are worth more than some of our furniture....Not that I don't mind paying a price for a good bag, but has anyone noticed a price hike in bags lately? The price for a bag of the season used to be a max of $1500 but lately they have been hitting about $1900 easy. Is it because the bags are bigger? Or is it just a price hike?
