The season’s nearing the end so we all know what that means – SALES! Neiman’s is having their Designer Sale and Saks is doing the First Cut Sale. As you all know, there are different standards when it comes to sales because you don’t have to think twice! Throw caution to the wind and BUY! without caring about being a snob. Well, the early sale season still has some good stuff, we’ve picked out a few that are still snob worthy. And then there is Last Call and the Off Saks sale when we pillage and plunder and buy everything that is so cheap it’s practically free (but then sits in our closets to wait for the allotted time to pass to give away to our cousins and housekeepers). But we do draw the line somewhere around Kate Spade and Juicy Couture bags. As per usual, all their stuff are on sale because who would pay full price for them? Or even half price. As a matter of fact, we wouldn’t pay anything for them or be caught dead carrying one but kids seem to like them.

The beautifully made woven bags by Bottega Vaneta are worthy investments at full price so on sale, this is a no brainer. Bottega Vaneta Braided Handle Tote at Neiman Marcus for $1085 and the Bottega Vaneta Perforated Leather Tote is at Saks for $1883.

I just got this Tod’s Kate Media bag today (in black though) because I figure, Fall is all about big bags and this one does not look like it’s about to attack me. And $810 for a well constructed Tod’s bag, its just a smart thing to do. At Saks (not available online, but for sales you really need to get down and dirty in the sales pile).

The Chloe Paddington Hobo is not as great as the regular Paddington but those will not be going on sale for a while so if you must, get something similar and save a few bucks. At Neiman Marcus for $1271. It’s also available at Net-A-Porter in red.

I am not a big fan of the vintage Pineapple print from Gucci, but some people are going crazy for them and like I said, during sale season, standards can wane. Gucci Pineapple Print with Bamboo Handle at Saks for $1323.

The Marc Jacobs Diane is the bag we love for traveling. This is a must buy for those who were on the fence. At Neiman Marcus for $805.

This is one of those cute bags you want but can’t justify at full price. Marc Jacobs metallic tote at Neiman Marcus for only $627.

I promise you, this super adorable Miu Miu Summer Frame Bag with rope handles will still get a lot of good use next summer. This is the perfect bag for your cute summer dresses that is big enough for sunscreen, hat and the huge sunglasses case that holds your monster bug eyes sunglasses. At Neiman Marcus for $525.

The Miu Miu Doctor Bag was highly publicized and I actually like it, well now that it’s $721 I like it a lot more. If you still want to jump on this bandwagon I think the hipness will hang for a little while longer. At Neiman Marcus.
