Money does not buy everything...

Dear Snob,

I love the Chloe saddle bag but the Mulberry Tyler is very similar. What do
you think about the Tyler since you hated their Roxanne bag? Is it an
acceptable substitute for the hard to get and pricey Chloe?

Please advise,

Joy

Dear Joy,

The Snob, like Hermes, prefers equestrian inspired goods over hideously ugly military bags such as the Roxane by Mulberry. But I certainly am not against the entire Mulberry line of bags! If you love saddles bags but can't afford the pricey Chloe saddle paddington, the Mulberry Tyler is definitely acceptable! As I always preach, real style can not be bought with money.

Love,
The Snob

Can't get enough of the Chloe paddington but can't get your greedy hands on more than one color? The new paddington saddle bag should satisfy your obsession! Our favorite is in buttery tan leather with silver double Cs on the zipper. The signature lock is as heavy as the original but don't worry! It's long single shoulder strap will allow you to balance this hefty bag across your body without cracking your back. Your chiro will definitely approve. $1610 on Net-A-Porter

Marc Jacobs Adina

The Adina bag in drummed goat skin, the yummiest concoction from Marc Jacobs' fall line is "to die for"! Or in some cases "to steal for"! (names will not be mentioned to protect the guilty). In creamy ivory or biker chick black, this is the urban chic bag to carry this fall. We are enamored with everything about it, the super cool antiqued brass hardware, the perfect slope to fit under your armpit, and the wide flat strap to ensure it doesn't slip off your shoulders while multi tasking with both hands. Whether you're an office slave or a slaving mom, you will turn heads with this striking bag. $1400 at eLuxury.com.

We all have memories of embarrassing fashion moments in the 80's but admit it, it was fun to dress so outrageous and stupid! You know what I'm talkin' about, neon tights and leg warmers, hairspray and Versace, and loud gold jewelry with everything. Leave it to Marc Jacobs to bring it all back with a bang. His spring 2006 Louis Vuitton show looked straight out of an '80's fashion shoot. We love the colorful tongue in cheek bags he created with luxe touches such as crocodile trim and gold grommets. Thank god the Murakami was nowhere to be seen! Get a red hot crocodile trimmed LV bag or a yummy white frame bag with tortoise shell chain and indulge in a flashback of the 80's!

Our countdown of the top 10 girls who mistake style with spending money and/or showing their boobs.

10. Mariah Carey

We actually like Mariah Carey, her voice at least and she does have the best crib on MTV Cribs, so we are not going to diss her too much. But we have a problem with her boobs hanging out all the time. I know she is a diva but I have a question: Do divas and hookers shop at the same place? And seriously, could the right side of her face be any worse than her left?
